To avoid any economic damage in the event of a system failure, industrial systems are optimally designed redundantly. Replacement components held in the system immediately take over the tasks of failed components, so that a problem does not necessarily lead to a production stop. After a quick switchover to the redundant system, the faulty machine can be replaced or repaired and put back into operation
