In 2015, ADITOR implemented the technical requirements for fast, smooth product shipment for the fashion retailer Zalando. At this site in Berlin, 60 packing tables are connected to the dispatch centre via conveyor belts. In addition to the control system and drive for the conveyor belts, ADITOR also provided the interface between the identification system (the scanner group for reading the labels) and the material flow computer (MSR). A controller S7-400, SEW drive technology and Interroll drives were used. Among other things, the new control system ensures that the system’s required handling speed of one package per second can be met.
