Fresenius Medical Care is the world’s leading manufacturer of dialysis products. At the St. Wendel site, the company produces both dialysis fluids and two-chambered plastic bags for safe, separate storage of the products for later joint use. For the implementation of a new bag line, ADITOR is taking over the area of control technology for two subsections. Among other things, several S7-1500 controllers as well as Pilz safety controllers, SEW servo technologies and special welding technologies are being used. As part of software development, the customer is entering what is new territory for Fresenius Medical Care: Here, Fresenius has developed a new factory standard based on TIA V14. Together with the customer, ADITOR will use, test and develop the new standard in this project.
